When you signup for Blogger, you get a free domain like “”.

Instead, get a domain name like “”.

These type of domain name looks more professional and increases the domain authority instead of subdomains.

First, let’s understand a few basic terms related to the Web.

Domain Name:

Domain names are the most important part of the web. Without them, we would be required to enter the exact IP address of websites in order to access them.

A domain name points to these web IP address and makes it much easier for us to access the web.

Domain Registrar:

Web Hosting:

Web Hosting helps us to host our files and our website on a remote server.

By default, Google enables HTTPS for your site but if it’s not enabled, you can enable it manually.

To get the HTTPS for your blogger blog with a custom domain, Click on Settings->Basic.

Now, under HTTPS section select YES from the drop-down menu. And also select YES for HTTPS redirect.
